The James E. Richmond Science Center is a splendidly unique and intimate venue to host your event. Your guests will delight in hands-on exhibits, life-size satellites, and immersive 360° exhibits. Our Digital Dome Classroom and Theater, with seating for up to 184, is ideal for presentations, performances and award ceremonies. It features state-of-the art digital audio and video capabilities.

Digital Dome Classroom & Theater

The Digital Dome Classroom and Theater uses state-of-the-art Digistar 5 technology from Evans & Sutherland to enhance visual and audio experiences for visitors. With a diameter of 60 feet, the Digital Dome is one of the largest of its kind! For your event, the space can be used for presentations, performances, award ceremonies, private movie nights, and more!
NOAA Science On a Sphere
Capacity: 60
The NOAA Science On a Sphere is a 6-feet diameter globe, showcasing an array of Earth and Space data, including real-time satellite imagery. For your event, your name or logo can be added to existing imagery. We can also work with you to create a custom image or animation.
Science Gallery and Lobby
Science Gallery contains several interactive exhibits, as well as life-size models of satellites and other science-related exhibits. This space can be used as gathering or dining area as well.
*Note: Maximum capacity for any event is 225.
